A Finished Project or Rather Two


Happy to update that Ripples had survived the wash in the machine and hang out to dry and finally DH is using it!

All of 2.5 skeins, I suddenly remembered that I am not tall so 4 skeins was not necessary!

lovely ripples blankie! just one question, will the yarns be softer and gentler after washing? i'm thinking of making one for my friend's baby due in sept, and not sure if minlon yarns are suitable for babies...

Ok, now I remember... for infants you have to be very careful. There is a reason why baby yarns were created.. less harmful vapours and coloring? Minlon is not soft enuf for infants too, btw. Hope that helps.

How about trying quilting!
