lovely ripples blankie! just one question, will the yarns be softer and gentler after washing? i'm thinking of making one for my friend's baby due in sept, and not sure if minlon yarns are suitable for babies...
soft? dont know... tonight I go rubber2 it and let you know.. how much are you paying for minlon these days?
i forgot the price, but according to N, minlon is abt RM1.90/skein... ok, remember to raba2 and let me know wor! thanks! :)
oh anyway, i took a look at the website u mentioned for the pattern... just wanna say, yours looked much much nicer! ;)
Ok, now I remember... for infants you have to be very careful. There is a reason why baby yarns were created.. less harmful vapours and coloring? Minlon is not soft enuf for infants too, btw. Hope that helps.
How about trying quilting!
Aiseh, mine better? wah you really rubber2 me ar? Tks for being kind to this old lady.
oh, minlon tak boleh ar? haiz... quilting, no lar. still prefer hooking!
hahaha... not trying to be kind. it's a fact! and u're NOT OLD! ;)
